I am humbled....

I received a very special  letter addressed to me recently...

Dear Dr Gayla Holley,

We are pleased to inform you that the Houston Police Department would like to award you the H.P.D. Humanitarian Service Award........ on August 11, 2010.

This is a high honor and I am humbled to receive it.  I am proud of our brave men and women who serve in the Houston Police Department, and I thank you for thinking of me.  Your help to me in Moms Against Hunger -Haiti Shipments  has been a valuable resource.

I am 1300 miles away and another team member will receive it for me, I will be thinking of this special ceremony tomorrow night.....
