Today's lists have already filled in the complete page.... stuff left over from my workweek last week... plus the new goals this week to complete. I have some exciting balls in the air that with a great staff we will all catch every one of them.

Complete Moms Against Hunger cards, both for travel and RMA

Computer project for MAH staff member to complete today with my instructions - it's a little complicated but together we can figure it out.

Cafe Geva start planning Summertime cold drink menu - oversee Staff, weekly inventory, mix up with order arriving tomorrow - must make sure they got it right.

Community Bible College _ 2 new Instructors to be included - oversee Staff - ck on week's students, opened mail, any special requests from students, any new students needing me. 

RMA Store Staff meeting to plan all sales while I am gone... clothing, shoes, household, furniture, books, dishes, toys, AND last but not least plan May Window displays (our wedding month for displays)

Start packing for our long trip (4 weeks out on the road)

Plan my speech for Saturday's presentation

Guest tour today of our ministries - plus order lunch in for guests to save us time....

Who ever thought the life of a woman in ministry was shopping and eating bonbons.... I can't even imagine that.

It's an awesome day to serve the Lord!!  Can I do it? You betcha!! How?  God is my partner today.

Daystar Television

When I do a television interview I always feel the weight of millions of eyes..... not those watching by television..... but those who are depending on me to bring provisional aid to them.  Every show I wish to bring the masses of people with me to show how it really is to live in a third world country.  But I can't..... so I am their voice and try to represent those living in terrible conditions of poverty and want.  How to show reality to the millions who are watching who live in paradise compared to the silent suffering millions.

I feel the  hearts of mothers holding hungry crying children, their  painful suffering, their needs of food, water, clothing and a safe place to live, their shattered hearts and  tears. Poor people feel the same pains  as any other.  They know when they have not had enough to feed their children or eat themselves.  Moms Against Hunger is in need of your support. 

Recently I ran into someone who watched one of my interviews.  "Oh I saw you on television talking about Haiti and your Moms Against Hunger.... sorry gotta go we are buying new furniture today"  My heart was crushed as I thought to myself....  did you give anything to help out, although you watched me asking for financial aid to ship food to Haiti?  Later in private I cried over their lack of compassion and the bold way they told me to my face.  Their actions proved their conscious. 

Another acquaintance sees me in passing, "I saw you on TV.....you look good girl"   Again no finances sent for the hurting.

This is a real situation..... Americans who are focused upon more and more for self will never find significance in their personal lives by materialism.  But those who give WHATEVER THEY CAN can lay down at night and know they gave to help someone in need.  Is this not what life should be about?  Helping our fellowman who also deserves clean water to drink, enough food to eat and something besides rags on their back. 

What child does not deserve enough to eat? 

Every 6 seconds a child dies from hunger related disease. 

Television is a tool, but only effective if people respond.  Entertainment does nothing to help a starving child.

Today I will send out my first appeal letter.... I pray people will respond. Can you help?

Will his gift be more than millions who watched? God also watched the show.... I tremble at His thoughts about it.

Daystar Television Interview

Today I will be on Daystar Television - The Houston Celebration Show at 10am.  Moms Against Hunger needs help to continue shipping aid into Haiti.  Can you help me?  If you are in the Houston area you might want to watch this show.....

Today.....

It's going to be a productive day.... my daytimer has a list of details that have been in the works and TODAY is the day when completion happens and several 'monkeys' will fall off my shoulders. It's a good thing when projects are finally done. 

When I complete.... hopefully there will be a space for a little rest.

2010 The Experience

This Drama was awesome!  The church was full of people who really enjoyed 2010 The Experience.  The phone calls are coming in today about what an impact it has made in the lives of men!  It makes it worth all the hundreds of hours that were spent putting it together for our Easter Drama this year.  Here are some shots of the actual Drama.

Special thank yous go to all the choir and orchestra, all sound and techs, backstage directors and prop managers, all costume creators and directors.  It was an incredible performance!

Why did Jesus fold the napkin?

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over
the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes.
The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly
folded, and was placed separate from the grave clothes.
Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the
tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus
loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I
don't know where they have put him!'
Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.. The other disciple
outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen
cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.

Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen
wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was
folded up and lying to the side.
Was that important? Absolutely!
Is it really significant? Yes!
In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to
understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded
napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this
tradition.
When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it
was exactly the way the master wanted it..
The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out
of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not
dare touch that table, until the master was finished.
Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his
fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and
toss it onto the table.
The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the
wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'.
But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it
beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table,
because..........

The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!'
He is Coming Back!
