African children gather and wait patiently to receive their packets. One never hears complaining from them, they simply stand quietly and wait. Patience is a virtue African children have, as life makes them wait for everything it seems.
As you can see by how they are dressed, they must dress in layers here as it's chillly. If they have no coat or jacket, a child must wear what they have, often shirts on top of shirts.
This group of children from another village all are intensely interested in what we are giving to them. What we cannot see from looking at this picture, are the many many families they represent from their village. The elderly... the sick.... the many deaths these children have seen from AIDS. The looks on their faces tell many heartaches. Moms Against Hunger will bring them hope with each packet they receive.
