It's been a busy week for us! But here are some highlights of what we have been doing the last 3 days. The Full Gospel Fellowship Conference began with a great Banquet honoring the President and his wife Dr Don Arnold and Jeanie. The banquet was for two reasons. They have just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and also have served the Fellowship for 17 plus years as it's President. They are now moving to becoming the Ambassador of the Fellowship and there will be a new President coming in. The food was good, the music excellent and the speeches were personal to the Arnold's. Everyone brought cards and gave them a love gift of appreciation at the close.
Look at the planes coming in at the San Fran Airport. It looks almost like they come to the edge of the water before landing! We are expecting Angela and Sean to arrive safely for the Conference, and they did thankfully so we hurried to get them - and then it was on!
There were Fellowship Conference work shops and sessions of ministry. Hard to take pictures during church without distracting!
Speakers and Ministers of whom I did not know - so it's been refreshingly different!
There have been times of good meals with friends in between sessions..... times of meetings of the minds in planning for the future....... and times of downloading after church at night with pastors and preachers.
Going to bed after midnight and getting up early the next day to yet more.... has kept us very busy to say the least.
We bumped into the Hoxworth's so we had a private lunch together one day.
Bishop Malcom and Margaret Wilson from England, came by the Coach and we had a cup of English Tea together during this Conference.
Before the Conference began we drove down to the Golden Gate Bridge to see it again. It's been some years since we were here. Can't come to San Fran without seeing it for sure!
More later!
