I thought I would show you some of the highlights of our week at the Full Gospel Fellowship Conference in San Francisco California.
At a Conference like this one, there are many different ministries that receive on different levels. And between services and late into the night pastors, evangelists, teachers, apostles, prophets and missionaries all spend time in their own relational groups sharing hearts and something cold to drink.
What do they talk about? Finding the heart of God for their ministries - staffing needs - budget challenges - new projects - upcoming events in their ministries - their children - their health - their church property issues - city zoning issues - legal paperwork 'stuff' , the Will of God - the Word of God - on and on. And you thought they were talking about you! Ha!
It's in the 60's here and soooo very nice! Nothing like hot steamy Texas weather by any means. One afternoon was several hours of free time so we took the time and went down to the Fishermans Wharf area for a sightseeing trip. Can't come to San Francisco and not go ride the trolleys!
It was funny, as we all are trying to enjoy a little break time - different ones of us would break away from the group and go talk on the phone. I'm sure that those who were calling each of us, were wondering at all the street noise they were hearing as we were trying to catch street trolleys in the middle of their phone calls to their pastors!
The Bishop and I loved having the rare treat of our daughter and son in law with us! They enjoyed it so much which means alot to this mom and dad! Although we all work together in the ministry - it's a treat for us to do something just for the fun of it together. We loved watching them enjoy themselves hanging on to the outside of the trolleys as we rushed up and down the hills of San Francisco. Good memories to savor later when we are all back in the saddle of ministry again.
