Hurry up it's time to go... quickly run out the door.... we are waiting on you.... time is wasting..... we don't want to wait anymore! The calling voices of time wrapped in responsibilities, shout at each of us day by day. And from the little wristbands buckled or strapped around our wrists, the tiny sound of time controls our eating, sleeping, working, and activities with it's silent voice.
The ticking second hand is the reminder as we are all racing out the door, it says, 'let's race'! Time has no respect - it just carries on, nimbly running right past each of us as we hurry.
Maybe if the watch is changed out - by wearing a different style or color it will enable one to stay in charge of time.
Or wear a tiny one - and maybe make time become unimportant. Who needs it anyway right? Or what about just not wearing a watch at all. That might do the trick. No watch - might mean no time to control my actions.
Or how about just laughing it off with a funny watch. Time is too serious, let's just have some fun and not worry about the time anymore. We could turn in the boring watch and get one of those smiley face badges, strap it on and hum, The 'Don't Worry Be Happy' song all day.
It matters not how many watches or clocks we own to help us tell what time it is - time still marches on. The structure we call 'time' runs our world. We live and eat and sleep by the ticking clock. And it's what helps life and people all work together.
This is why vacations are so great, as once in a while we get to run away from time. We just think we are getting away with it! Ha Ha! Life just marches by ignoring our snoring naps and when we return - we come home some days later sometimes to rest from our vacation. And 'catch up' on everything that passed us by. What? I thought time was waiting till my return to start up again.
Oh well time waits for no one.
I wonder if patience could be worn on my arm like a watch to help me stay 'on patience' like time likes to control my hours. Hmmmmm ......
