My first sermon of the new year... 2012

One of the branches of ministry that brings me such joy is our prison bible school - The Community Bible College.  It's my privilege to oversee this awesome ministry and watch the many souls that God adds to us weekly.  Just in December we had 63 brand new students join.  It soon will reach 1500 men and women in 35 States now! These are inmates that are taught the word of God , lesson by lesson - verse by verse- in Matt, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, Corinthians and Revelations.  (I hope to write Ephesians in 2012 for them)  It's my honor to write our Newsletter to them monthly... men and women that I can touch across America that I will never meet on planet earth, but I know I will in Heaven.

Community Bible College - our prison ministry

We receive letters, lessons and sometimes artwork  daily in the Community Bible College office, and this picture is one of those that is an inspiration to me.  This picture was done BY A WOMAN INMATE WHO WAS ASKING CAN SHE PLEASE BE ACCEPTED INTO OUR PRISON BIBLE SCHOOL.  After I saw this picture she drew, I broke down in tears privately before the Lord.  She really touched my heart with this....O God let my life pull thousands into eternal life please God.  Let this lady find you through these lessons. Of course she can join... CBC is free to inmates across America.  

This is she and two other woman studying CBC lessons at a table.  Look at the Newsletter laying there.  (I am honored to write to our 1500+ students monthly in the Newsletter)  Look at Jesus watching over them.  I am so touched by this...

She is entering the Christmas Card Contest with this picture.  Extravagant Presence is the theme for 2011 they have to draw about.  How very true  that the Presence of Jesus is there with them as they study their lessons.

The November Newsletter for our Prison Bible School

The CBC Correspondance Bible School for men and women inmates is in 35 States and our Instructors minister to them every month through the lessons.  It's one of my responsibilities to oversee .... We pray for our students daily and offer free lessons for the incarcerated across America.  A student only needs a Bible to join in... the Bible is their only text book.  Our lessons are in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans and Revelations -each chapter is one lesson.  I hope to have the entire New Testament done in my lifetime.... (James and Ephesians are underway now) 

It's a joy to know these lessons are a real help to those behind bars... If you are a Christian and you would like to be an Instructor please email me.  This is a great way to share Christ!
