I was a Guest Speaker at the 'Women of Excellence' Conference last week -and several ladies went with me. We all had a great time together - it was nice to have them with me. This Conference was for the women in leadership in 5 churches.
Jacki Davidson presented me with an Lifetime Achievement Award that surprised me. She was so kind to do this for me...it touched my heart and made me a little shy - I feel uncomfortable when people do these things.
It was a beautiful retreat of dedication and renewal for these women who carry many responsibilities in their home churches.
Do you know it's a proven fact that women carry the majority of the actual 'arms and legs' work in the local church? They really do so much and women in leadership need times of refreshing at Retreats.
