To all those who care about hurting people and are trying to push the word out about the serious need in Zimbabwe - to all their connections, family members, friends, co-workers and bosses - to everyone who reads this post today! I am thinking this morning of those who I can touch to help with this shipment of food. I will be making some phone calls to personally try to get their support to help me with the shipping costs.
I went to bed with a full tummy - and suffered the pangs of anguish thinking about the people I grew up with - who didn't sleep with food in their stomach. A child who is fed only water will not live long. As a mother it hurts me to think of children who are suffering because they are hungry. But what does an African mother do when she has no money to buy with? And the one pot of gathered sticks, leaves and root worms will not take care of her 5 children for the day.
She is discouraged from the lack of her ability to feed her own. Mothers in Africa love their children as much as American moms do.
Please help me dear Lord to gather the funds I need to help.
